The Michel Couvrer whiskies are Scottish whiskies that are shipped over to Burgundy in France and matured in a variety of wine casks. This “Overaged Malt” is a blended malt aged in ex Sherry casks. Bottled at 43%. Dalmore esque and the closest to cognac/brandy in style in a whisky i have tried out of many tasted. Very grapey and something distinctly “French” about this with some very aged malty and antique oak notes, classy after dinner whisky this.
